VALERIE Zyranian poisoning effect and loud noise

I have started experiencing an issue upon loading into an area (from elevators, fast travel, etc) where VALERIE will often spawn in with a Zyranian poisoning effect and an EXTREMELY loud sound. The poisoning effect disappears immediately after. This appears to have started after getting the Mantisaur pupa. I did also recently lower the music volume to 35%.

I thought this problem had resolved itself, but when I return to Golden Ridge it returns.
