Discord push to talk button has poor interaction with Grounded 2 menus

I override the typical 'back' button on my mouse to 'F24'. I bind this 'F24' as my push-to-talk button in Discord. The problem I'm having with my friends is that we try to talk while in the Grounded 2 in-game menus and it keeps backing us out like the back button would otherwise... but I don't have this issue in other games so I think it is something with how Grounded 2 handles this button.
