I'm permanently in combat which prevents me from interacting with the transformer to sabotage it.  I killed everything I could find to resolve the issue but it appears to be combat behind a hatch I have no dialog to open it with.  I walked all the way back to the other mission branch to lose aggro, but that did nothing and it was sealed off anyway.  

Managed to resolve the issue by throwing a grenade by the hatch which killed the bot hiding in the door.  Ugh.

I am stuck on the same part. No matter how many times I tried to kill the enemy stuck inside the wall with a grenade it just doesn't seem to reach it. I am surprised it's still not fixed, especially since it's right at the start of the game.
