Unable to repair ladders in base

After an O.R.C. attack, I was repairing several base parts when I got to the ladders that were damaged. Apparently, when you try to repair them, it now forces your character to jump close to the ladder and start climbing. This appears to be a glitch with the climb command being single press of "E", and repair being holding "E" down.
