I reverted back to NVIDIA driver 581.08 and it works if its the first thing I load after a restart or startup.  If thats the case, I wonder if it has something to do with shader cache.

Yes - tried the DDU Clean Install and various other troubleshooting tips from posters on this thread and elsewhere.

Avowed (another Obsidian UE5 game) runs fine so the issue seem to be confined to Grounded 2.

What is your hardware setup?  Im curious if its a RTX 50xx issue because I have friends that play with AMD GPU's and dont have these issues.

Seems to align with my experience.

1. Primary , consists of 7800X3D on a MSI X670E Tomahawk with a MSI 5090 on a 1440p ultrawide monitor.

2. Secondary, consists of 7700X on a MSI Pro B650-P with a Zotac 4090 on a 4K TV.

I did a quick test some time ago with the earlier 580.88/.97 GR drivers to see if I can replicate the GPU Crash Dump. Was able to load a Shared World save and play for a bit without any crashes. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Yeah I have a MSI motherboard as well but ASUS RTX 5090 on a AMD 9950X3D.

The issue appears to be resolved on my 7800X3D/5090 rig. I can't be sure if it's the latest NV GR 581.42 or it was the 0.2 Update.

Either way, was able to play two quick sessions yesterday and today without experiencing any GPU Crash dump errors.

New update for both game and driver, still crashes after reboot.  Its frustrating to revert back to an older driver to play.  I posted a new post.

Before the update the game runs on my pc after it dsnt  i tried to reinstall it and updated Driver but nothing seems to work

Does anyone have an idea to make it run??

I think these crashes are related to RTX 5090 or shader cache because I too have a RTX 5090.  My game still crashes at startup on 0.2.0.0 with the latest NVIDIA driver.  Im still sad.

Ugh, sorry to hear. Seems like there is still some stability enhancements needed.

Whatever the reason, the title (which broadly extends to many recent UE5 titles) is a bit of a lottery when it comes to stability (and performance).

Try this to see if it fixes your problem.  Load up the NVIDIA control panel and go to 3D Management, go to Shader cache and increase it up to 100 GB then load the game.

Already set at 100GB in Nvidia App/CP since mid/late August. I've been using that Shader Cache size as one of the recommended troubleshooting "fixes".

I continued to have the GPU dump crash outside of 577.00 until the latest 0.2 update (along with 581.42) on the 7800X3D/5090.
