Playing on Xbox series S in a multiplayer session - steps to recreate

Review an item in your inventory, use LS to view additional options, select recipes, taken to resources page but unable to leave this page (games has not crashed and still connected to the server but all controller inputs are unresponsive, audio still works and time still passes. Other players in the session are unaffected. Results in having to leave session by going to Xbox home and manually quitting the game. 

I literally keep running into this. It’s so frustrating.
