I've spent the last few days trying to fix this issue, and tried everything the internet had to offer. My partner and I both got the game, we're in the same room, both have all the same settings front to back. I can access multiplayer but she gets the ^^^^ same message every time. She's got Open NAT. Crossplay enabled. No multiplayer restrictions set. Her own forwarded port on the modem and near perfect wi-fi connection. We've reinstalled, updated, and every other trick in the book. Can anyone offer a new suggestion? I know it's in preview state but knowing it works for others and for me is making this really frustrating.

I haven’t been able to log into multiplayer yet. I came here looking to see if anyone has any suggestions too. I get the same error and did everything she did and nothing.

**UPDATE**

Almost hurts to say it, but we got it to work after my last resort option. Factory reset on her console and then reinstalling worked immediately. Hope anyone else struggling can find am easier fix, but if worse comes to worse... 

 

Side note - WORTH IT. This game is the best.
