Floofy Posted yesterday at 01:44 PM Posted yesterday at 01:44 PM I keep getting this message any time I try to join my own shared world that I created since the update and it doesn’t even show any more recent saves since we kept playing after that with someone else hosting
NoahHyor Posted yesterday at 02:38 PM Posted yesterday at 02:38 PM The same thing just happened. I was kicked out of the game and couldn't log in anymore. This is my world where only I play at the moment
kallador Posted yesterday at 04:26 PM Posted yesterday at 04:26 PM Game did the same thing, I had 2 different worlds I am shared with, the first one I've created became corrupted as soon as the game locked up and crashed. I couldn't even create copy of that save file I was able to save one using the save a copy but I had to delete all the previous saves to keep it, we lost the world with alot of progression. Game still randomly locks up and crashes and seems to happen more often Playing on both xBox series X and PC xbox app non-steam.
erink913 Posted yesterday at 04:48 PM Posted yesterday at 04:48 PM Game crashed 3 times and now I'm getting that same message. Every save I had under it says the same thing too. Lost all progress and my partner whom I shared the world with couldn't even load it for the same reason. The game crashes constantly. Playing through the Xbox app on PC.
Floofy Posted 23 hours ago Author Posted 23 hours ago Yea it makes no sense and my friends can’t even try to unshare and share the world with me since I am the original host so it had to have been the update they pushed out yesterday 1
momphilis Posted 21 hours ago Posted 21 hours ago We have experienced the same issue, except I was/am not the original host. My son created the world. (He lives in a different state btw, so not on the same ip or anything.) We played the first night for hours. We all (there were 3 of us playing) went to bed and then yesterday when I got home and tried to join his multiplayer save (he was in game) I couldn't even see it on the list to join. He quit the game and noticed he had an update/hotfix so he did that. Then when I tried to get on I started getting this same error. I even tired to host it myself since he had made me a host also for that world, and I got the same error message. I was able to do the verify and repair option and it finally let me play an earlier save of that world but I still can not join him while he is in the game. I sent in a support ticket but haven't heard anything as yet. I realize it is per-release but man this is annoying. 1
Joe.Lee.biola Posted 18 hours ago Posted 18 hours ago The fix is to create a copy that you can reload and then re add the people into your shared world. The problem is autosaves no longer register for them come and they can’t host your game when you’re not on anymore. Shared hosting is busted after the last update 1
z_pro94 Posted 10 hours ago Posted 10 hours ago (edited) A temporary work-around for me, is I had my brother join our shared world, than I click "join game" from his Xbox Profile. (Playing on Xbox Series X) Edited 10 hours ago by z_pro94 More info
cheeseburgar55 Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago Started a shared world with some friends, one of them loaded the shared world yesterday, I've hosted since and it can no longer be loaded. Tried to find the save files but unable to locate them.
Isaac Peltzer Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago Had the same issue last night, was hoping i could sleep on it but still no dice, a world I had hosted all day long with multiple saves is no longer accessible with the same message, my friend can still access it but can’t reshare it with me? So now every time I want to access it he has to be online. I understand constant crashes and rendering issues on launch but not being able to access a map I’ve been grinding on for 2 days straight randomly out of nowhere is frustrating. (Xbox series x/s)
