Red Soldier Ant Buggy disappears

The red soldier ant buggy disappeared when I had to relog from the server. This bug also happened to my friend, and he had to get another egg. As you can see in the images below, I completed the mission to hatch the egg and ride it, but when I press T, it doesn't appear. At one point, it was there, but I had to relog, and it simply disappeared.

Having the same/ similar problem. I was unaware that we would have a 4th person on our server and now they don’t have a buggy to ride because I used a new soldier ant egg after mine disappeared.

Had the same problem just build and ant nest and i should be able to withdraw it

I've had the same thing done to me I was fighting something and it hit my buggies and it's disappeared it only shows the name tag

Same thing happened to wife. She died and bug follows her under ground but won't let her send it back. So I had her switch to a new character after dropping all her stuff. And was able to hatch another egg. And had the same ant name and molar milk upgrades.

Same issue.. playing with my son and his buggy just is gone..... this glitch made a 6 year old cry so thanks..

Just press T, then Z... unassign your buggy... then press T call him again.... the buggy works like the horse on the witcher 3... you call him and it reappears next you. Some places do not allow you to call your buddy... just walk some distance and try again.

Building the ants nest made it so I was able to "Withdraw" my buggy! Try it out!

Hey guys I had this buggy disappear problem with only the name tag . My solution is to leave the area and whistle for your buggy. Once you are far away enough it will just come to you. This is what worked for me every time it disappeared, hopefully it works for you

Same thing happened to me. I share a world with my brother and died 6 times trying to get a red soldier ant egg for each of us and a big Northern scorpion followed us home and recked our base. I log back on and my buggy is gone but his buggy is not gone. I tried to load an old save but nothing. I really need a save because I can’t die again trying to get another egg.

This happen twice to me and my kids so far.  The first time my sons Ant just disappeared when we loaded our last save.  We had to roll back to a previous auto save to get it back.  The second time was my ant with similar issues but with mine doing other saves didn't fix the issue.  My ant is just gone.  We have the best and he isn't there nor can I whistle for him.  I even ran far from our base to see if that would trigger him to respawn but nothing happened.   For some context, when we logged we had our ants with us and I used the stay command on mine before we logged

Same thing has happened to me a couple of times. Usually I just reload an earlier save, but this time it happened just as I escaped from the Wolf Spider in the Spider Den Ants Nest. Game Crashed, and on reloading, my buggy is no longer there. I can't recall it, and it isn't in the nest back at my base.
This is the first week of early access, so of course we should all expect these things. I don't mind at all usually. But I really, really don't want to have to go back through that Spider Den Ants Nest.

I had the same issue. I created 2 buggies & was out with 1 when it ran off & never came back. The game kept saying it was following me, so I couldn’t call it. When I went home & tried to put it in the nest, I couldn’t do it. I took the other one out & the spot was replaced by the missing one. When I tried to put the 2nd one in the nest, it didn’t register a 2nd buggy. I created a new nest to see if I could put the 2nd buggy in there & that one didn’t register the 2nd buggy either. I took the 1st one out the nest & now I had 2 buggies with me. I logged out & came back in & the 2nd one disappeared completely.
