jp543 Posted May 13 Posted May 13 I just finished Tyranny, and, I know people are satisfied with the ending or just replaying the game a bunch of different ways. I also assume people are okay with not having a sequel due to how much work and commitment it would take to make a game that compares to the original. I don't know, I assume the other endings maybe leave off on a way that makes a sequel seem less probable??? If there is even really another "ending" because I've read a few things about it through reddit, but don't want to spoil it, should I decide to try again another way. Idk. I only got my ending, it's all I needed. I liked the game and Obsidian is tied with Bethesda and Bioware for my favorite developers, so, I had to say something somewhere I guess. That's all. It'd be probably too much work, and I'm basically saying this to the wall, but, I like to dream. Mass Effect/Dragon Age save transfer and like 10 years of work. You got it, surely. 1
PhD_Fharon Posted October 29 Posted October 29 Hi there, Thank you for bringing this up, I am myself a huge fan of this game. The universe they set up, is, in my opinion, one of the richest and most fascinating scenarios I have seen for a RPG. Surely this is too good to leave it to waste, so it would be wonderful to see some new game set up in the same universe, not necessarily as a sequel but maybe as a prequel of how e.g. Kyros came to power. Dreaming is for free, so let's hope for it. For me, this game is already a game of Cult in the same level Baldurs Gate II or Planescape:Torment are.
marwaha Posted 20 hours ago Posted 20 hours ago Obsidian has never announced a sequel, and since being acquired by Microsoft, the studio has been working on Avowed, Outer Worlds 2, and other projects.
