It's great to see Pillars of Eternity getting a bit of attention again, and particularly great that the Mac version has been brought up to date in line with Windows. Inspired by that, and also by all the hype around Avowed (which I quite fancy playing if only I wasn't two games behind in the series), I thought I might have another crack at finally finishing it.

Only, it seems the issue of cloud saves not syncing between platforms never got fixed. Is there any chance that it might be resolved in the upcoming update? There's next to no chance I'll get through the game if I can't move to my Steam Deck when I'm out of the house. I know the saves are compatible and I've moved the files manually before, but the effort of doing that every day would be just too much friction to keep playing as regularly as I'd need to get through a long RPG. I really don't mind if I have to choose between keeping my Windows and macOS saves to get to the point of having working cross-save.

Also, the Mac version isn't running properly in fullscreen mode on MacBooks with a camera notch. The game window is shrunk to fit below the notch, meaning it's not accurately rendering in the native screen resolution - and it's doing that even if I select a 16:10 resolution that should fit perfectly below the notch natively. It'd be great if that could be looked at as well. 🙂
