Hey everyone, i finished PoE1 few day ago and i really liked it so i decided to buy PoE2 with all dlc and I want to play on PotD difficulty. in first game i played as a wizard but now i want to try a Monk build. I have only played as wizard or any magic class in every other CRPG so i have no idea how to build a class like Monk. I know there are alot of other ways to build a Monk like Boeroer's Mortar Monk (i dont like the idea of a monk going around with gun even though its really strong) but i really prefer to play it with Bare Hand or just Traditional Weapons (i dont mind other weapons). I also prefer to avoid Nalpazca since i have heard AI can be annoying and i dont like the idea of using drug as a monk for roleplay purposes. I really appreciate it if someone go over the details (Subclass, race, background, attribute, choice of weapon and strong comboes...) on how to make a viable Monk Build for PotD. I also should mention that i plan to play with Party and i have also downloaded the Community Patch.

I'm not a monk pundit, but you can see some suggestion here and here.
Anyway single class monk is a powerful class, helwalker is a good choice as subclass and the build for a monk is not very hard to build, it has so many great actives, but for a sensible choice wait for an expert ;)
