Orsun Posted February 21 Posted February 21 Are there really no torches or any forms of illumination? I understand that we cant have everything that PoE 1-2 had just because of the transition from crpg. *Fingers crossed we get a 3rd watcher based crpg with all this new interest* but cutting out torches? There are so many dark spaces in the game you have to travel through and you literally cant see anything. This just feels bad. Or maybe im missing something? Feel free to let me know
omgFIREBALLS Posted February 21 Posted February 21 Someone shared the tip you can power attack with a wand to make it briefly light things up, but yeah. For most part the game just decides to light up when I enter dark spaces. My headcanon is that I have bioluminescent growths on my face. 1 My Deadfire mods: Out With The Good | Waukeen's Berth | Carrying Voice | Nemnok's Congregation Other Deadfire work: Deadfire skill check catalogue Avowed skill calculator
Sylvus_Moonbow Posted February 22 Posted February 22 Would be nice, yeah. I dropped the gamma right down until the Pillars of Eternity log was nearly invisible because the game is so annoyingly bright. Works great outdoors but sometimes in caves, a light spell of some sort would have been nice to have to remain in the ambience I want to play in, and not the bright go-lucky lightning the game has.
Hemipheistos Posted February 22 Posted February 22 One way to lighten up your spelunking is to find a weapon with fire enchantment. Apperently this briefly illuminates the close surroundings. But crafting a torch or lantern or something would be a greatly appreciated addition. Ye.
