Is there a way to disable the toggle subtitles and dialogue and history lore prompts? I have tried setting the HUD off and all manner of other options which seem to disable all the UI but those things.

Taking into account the number of bugs we have reported, some even breaking the progression of the campaign and achievements, in addition to the date of the last update, I believe they have already given up on bringing fix updates.

I am unable to get the gate to emerald stairs to open. Edda won't talk to me anymore neither will the ambassador. Please help.

Was there a patch today?  I fired up the game today and the shader generator took a long time, which generally happens only with a new version.  I continued from the last save and tried to open the journal - "Fatal error", crash to desktop.  Retried with earlier save, same crash.  Any time I try to open the info screens (inventory, journal, character, etc) it gets the same crash.  This is new, I've had hardly any issues up to now including every day for the last 2 weeks.  I'm about 3/4 done in this playthrough (~halfway through the Tusks) and now I'm stuck.  Anybody else having this problem?
