Atma Posted December 3 Posted December 3 Hi. I just finished Pillars of Eternity 1 and 2 they were great games. I am looking forward to playing Avowed. The gameplay looks solid and seems very interesting as a first person shooter but not shooting and instead casting spells. I played Overwatch 1 and 2 and always wondered if a game would come out that wasn't pvp, and it happened ! Woot !. I do have one concern though I've heard all the news about the game being woke I hope my character doesn't have to deal with that if I'm not interested. Can anyone tell me if this is optional or if the game forces you into situations that you have to hear politics. I'm fine with everything I don't pick sides I just was wondering if there are real life politics or if it's just the internet being stupid. Either way I'm going to pick up the game just wanted a heads up. I've read through the posts I just didn't notice anyone talking about this. I honestly am just curious my bad if this is sensitive to some people.
Pidesco Posted December 4 Posted December 4 Avowed forces you to hear politics at about the same rate as both Pillars of Eternity games. Hope that helps. 1 2 "My hovercraft is full of eels!" - Hungarian tourist I am Dan Quayle of the Romans. I want to tattoo a map of the Netherlands on my nether lands. Heja Sverige!! Atma Posted December 4 Author Posted December 4 Ahh ok. It wasn't anything I didn't enjoy with Pillars it all went along with the story and the world. I guess if Avowed is along the same lines I'm not going to even care as long as the gameplay is fun, and it does look fun. Anyway I figured it was probably much liek Pillars thanks you for the response
