Response to Matt Hansen's comments?

I would like to inquire as to how Obsidian feels about Avowed art director Matt Hansen's comments made on BlueSky. Looking at discussions on various places such as Reddit, Steam and Twitter, thousands of people who were otherwise genuinely looking forward to the game are now feeling alienated by his comments and will no longer be supporting the game. Many people have also mentioned how one man's highly politically charged comments are unfortunately undermining and damaging years of hard work of all his colleagues, who may or may not support his views, but regardless should have kept it strictly professional, since this will without a doubt affect perception and sales of the game negatively.

Since Obsidian has so far remained silent on the matter, I would like to ask how Obsidian feels about this - does the company stand behind his comments?
