Hi,

my progression in the White March Part II Quest "Ready the Cannons" stuck.

My Quest-Log has following items for this quest

- One of the cogs in the gearbox is missing. I'll need to find a new one to replace it.

- The chain is rusted solid. It might work again if I could find something to remove the rust.

- The control mechanism is missing a lever. There may be something nearby that I can use in its place.

- I've found a cog. I can use this to repair the lift gearbox.

- I found a solvent that might remove the rust on the lift chain.

- I've found a spare lever. I should be able to activate the lift with it.

I also notice that not always if i take the solvent i get and quest update.

After i fix all the broken parts with the items i found, the fandom wiki says that my questlog should get a new entry (I've repaired the lift. I can now ascend to the top of the West Tower. ) but this never happen.

I can then use the lift go to top of the tower kill all enemy's and interact with the wheel on the glob, there should  be a few quest trigger while doing this, but nothing happens.

Some Ideas how to handle this? (i tried different order in fixen the elevator but nothing trigger the lift repaired entry)

Or is the only hope to pray for an other patch which will hopefully patch this issue?

This sounds like an unresolved bug that is described in an old thread.

Probably worth sending a bug report message with a savegame attached over to Obsidian support.
There's a link to contact support in the first post of this thread:
