Recent Patch Deleted Save File, Even From Directory in Local Files

Hi, has anyone else experienced their POE save file being deleted entirely after the recent POE update? I know some people had a similar issue, but could see the save file in the directory and, supposedly, report it (I couldn't actually find an option to report/raise a ticket despite Obsidian's post on Steam).

Am I right in thinking there isn't a fix to do and will just have to tolerate the blunder?

I'll vouch for this as well. I've experienced this myself, only in my case I've seen my save files randomly deleted after I just manually saved my game. That shouldn't be possible and yet here we are. This is why I take manual backups of saves and house them elsewhere, just in case.
