PS4 multiplayer crash

My friends and I have just started a multiplayer game.  I am on PS5, and my friends are on PS4 and PS5.  Initially it worked fine, but them started crashing when I tried to load the game up.  The crash happens after I have chosen my character.  

 

At first the crashes would happen a few times before it loaded up successfully.  In the past two days the crashes are happening every time (I have made approximately 30 attempts).  

 

The error code is CE-108255-1.  I have tried deleting all other saves, reinstalling the game and rebuilding my PS5 database from safe mode.  All my other games work fine.  Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks.
