I want to make Kana an off-tank, complenting Eder who is my main tank. I'm new to PoE, so I'm not sure what direction to take it. Advice from internet in general suggests picking up a sword and shield, and relevant talents(weapon style, ancient memory, hold the line), and putting him in heavy armor. All of which I've done - but he still seems to be really bad at tanking. He's losing HP  really fast after just a few fights. Is there anything i am missing here? Want to I need to do to make him a viable off tank? I'm about level 5 btw. 

Hi, do you switch armor in base of the foe's weapons? Do you use "At the Sound of His Voice, the Killers Froze Stiff" and "The Thunder Rolled Like Waves on Black Seas"?
