I am playing on PC via Steam

Whenever I try to login via my Microsoft account for crossplay/multiplayer, I receive this message: "The request has been blocked. Ref A: 757D11EEE18C4E07832571831DD7C601 Ref B: BL2AA2030106027 Ref 2023-04-03T18:17:33Z"

Has anyone ran into this problem?  I tried to search the forum and Google, but to no avail.

I'm dealing with the same issue, and after quite a bit of research....this seems to be an ongoing problem for many. I've opened a ticket with Obsidian, I'll let you know if they help me find a resolution.

Yeah I just bought the game for my friend and he's having the same issue. We've added Grounded to his firewall, tried making a new account etc etc all the typical fixes that come up on google but still no dice. At this point its been so long that we can't get a refund on steam so GG I guess

The only way to fix it is to log with an old microsoft account atm . I tried with a new account and I'm having the same Request is blocked. But it's working with my old microsoft account, same with my girlfriend account. 

I'm pretty sure Microsoft block something , maybe with parental control ?

Hey, same issue here. I tried to do some googling, but didn't found anything very useful... I tried with 3 different old accounts, and a new one, nothing worked.
From what I saw while searching, it might be a NAT issue in the Xbox network parameters (Settings > Games > Xbox Network) where it is put as Moderate or Strict instead of Open. But when following this troubleshooting guide (https://support.xbox.com/en-GB/help/hardware-network/connect-network/xbox-one-nat-error#general-nat-troubleshooting) nothing changed... so I don't know

me and my friend have the same issue so seeing this thread it's pretty common. very annoying.

the message it gives is :

The request is blocked.

Thanks for continuing to bring attention to this.  After a detailed ticket, Obsidian sent me this e-mail in response.  Issue is acknowledged I guess?  I hope so...  Stay tuned, I suppose.  Will let you know if a resolution is found.

Experiencing the same issue. It's a little irritating considering that I can't unlock achievements without linking grounded to my xbox account (bought on steam). Funny enough, I can log into this forum just fine with my Microsoft account. Hope there is a resolution soon.

I'm also experiencing this issue, it would be quite funny if it was just an API Key expiring on the Microsoft to Grounded Servers side because it seems like I can log into the Microsoft account but the connection gets blocked after that "logging in" point

I agree it's frustrating.  They have no problem taking our money, but haven't really showed any urgency to fix this issue or address it.  "Our team is looking into it."  It's clearly a larger-scale problem that they should at least address progress on.

After that you can login ingame

Wow, you are smart dude.  That got me past the "Blocked" error and it appeared to log me in... but then it just went to the main menu and I remained Offline.  Couldn't launch multiplayer, couldn't attempt to login anymore.  But, that's definitely progress.
