Hi to all. I've a simple question related to the balance of the game.. at the moment i need to upgrade power of my weapons (for killing ants or spiders) and tools. To do this, i need to craft an item that needs marble and quartzite. BUT: quartz and marble are INSIDE zones with ants or spiders (caves). So?? How it is supposed that I can do it?? Does it seem to be a nonsense, doesn't it?? Anyone else in my situation? Any suggestions? Thx very much for your help..

Try to craft better weapons, adapted to bugs you want to kill, to make you a path to resources. Ants are pretty easy to kill, take your time, block and heal, and it would be fine.

Am I the unique player that has this difficulty??

If you use the pebble spear and make acorn armor you can kill the red worker ants for red ant parts and worker head. then craft the ant armor and decend into the red ant cave. The red ants should not attack you while donning the ant armor. I killed multiple workers using that set-up.
