Hi, I have a problem to logging in with the Xbox Network account when using Grounded.

The folloring error appears:

Failed to load URL https://login.live.com/oauth20_logout.srf?client_id=000000004027a245&redirect_uri=https://login.live.com/oauth20_desktop.srf&state=v7va1jYK6KDyiejBTHPNqp2d5iuXpxAh3Z1UUHpWmkELMIGvp7cYckjl5wFMVhn3Yj-QqiP7JjVum47jOUtq4Q with error ERR_CONNECTION_RESET (-101).

I have allready tryied to reinstall, deaktivate the firewall and antivirus software, resart the router and login with another Xbox accont, but nothing worked.

Hope for the right solution.

My error doesn't look like that, but I am getting what I think is a very similar kind of error:

I am running Windows 11 logged into Windows with my Microsoft account, and I have confirmed that account *is* the one tied to my GamePass account.  That GamePass account is the account logged into the XBox PC client in which I'm launching Grounded.  So, all the Microsoft identity bits on my end seem correct -- I'm wondering, given your error @0wolfman0, if the problem is in whatever underlying SSO is happening between Obsidian and MS's systems.

I have not been able to fix this so far.  I have tried doing a repair on the install, and I have confirmed that launching other games in the same XBox PC client on the same PC works just fine.  All local network and internet connectivity appears in order.  I logged into these forums to write this post using Microsoft auth, so some SSO is working between Obsidian and Microsoft, but whatever the Grounded client itself may not be (assuming it's separate).

Obsidian/Grounded Support, haaalp! :(

Just wanted to give a quick update.  After continuing to poke at it, it finally occured to me to fully sign out of the XBox PC client (top-left by your handle/avatar > Sign Out) and signed back in.  This got it working!  It slipped right into Multiplayer without error once I did this.

My guess is that some MS-issued token expired somewhere between the last time I played and this morning, and re-authenticating refreshed whatever that token was. I would be curious, given that I've seen a few post on the forums today about this error, if some maintenance action or failure on the MS or Obsidian side broke something for a % of players (but not all)?  v0v

Hope that helps! :)

Tried and failed, sadly.  Still getting same issue.

Hey I found a solution TODAY for this issue.
You need to go into windows "Credential Manager" - then click on the Windows Credentials tab. Scroll down to the line Xbl_Ticket *random numbers* Delete all these. They will automatically redownload when needed. This resets the game's login.

Now, this part here was the step I was having issues figuring out. Create a new microsoft account under a different email. Use that one to log in.
Then once the game logs you in, sign out, and try logging in with the main account. Make sure to manually enter the info, don't use the saved one. This did the trick for me. Hope it helps!
