Shared Worlds still crash - Lag issues online

Hey, so I've been playing with my friends online and they live across the world from me. Usually this isn't a big issue when it comes to playing online games, but we've started to get a lot of lag and crash issues with standard worlds and the shared worlds no matter who hosts it. At this point, it's unplayable for us, so I was just hoping that someone would know how to fix this issue or if there will ever be a fix for this issue? We were hoping the shared worlds might fix something when it came out, but I think it just made it worse.

Hi! We were the same way, for a while it was fine regardless of who the host was, but now it throws us out, or the shared world doesn't even come in properly.
Let's hope there is a solution soon...

I'm not sure if this is a new issue or related but when we were just playing on the new patch the players not hosting were getting kicked a lot and we were noticing lag in movement. We had also started a new game via the Host -> New Game -> Shared World path and the save file is completely gone. I made sure to click Save multiple times but every time I backed out of the menu in game and back in no save files displayed. I also tried Save -> Quit -> Host Online -> Continue Game and the game file still did not display in the list.

Just tried to log into my shared world and all of the shared world save games are completely gone. Not sure why by definitely disheartening. I love this game and have been very happy playing it (I bought it about a month after it's initial release and haven't regretted it). I know it's a new feature and will have bugs but I hope the games come back soon. I was on day 150-something and was working on my really cool baseball base.
