Old Multiplayer save on Xbox won't allow others in

We have been playing grounded for almost a year now with the host on Xbox and me playing from PC.  After this last update he can load the old save file but no one can join him, from PC or Xbox.  Any way we can fix this?

If you haven't already, I recommend submitting a support request so we can work with you one on one to either resolve or investigate this issue. There are a few lingering issues from this last patch the team is working on resolving in a hotfix update. I'm sorry that you and your friends have run into this issue.
