Inventory - Armour Items - Small Diamond Shape

In my 'Inventory' some Armour items have a small, half filled, white diamond shape in the box to the right of the Armour pictogram. 

What is its significance?

It means the item is in "Pristine" Condition. It's worth more bits than an ordinary piece of hte same type.
