If this has been asked before( and logically im fairly sure it has) im sorry i tried searching but didnt see it. Will the new optional adjustments, such as pet immortality, food spoilage, etc etc, be applicable to saved games? Some of these seem neat, and the pets randomly dying are aggravating so i would welcome that. most of the other settings might be fun to play with now n then, but for the most part i enjoy a hard difficulty. But i really dont want to restart the entire game just to stop losing my pets. I had completed everything( minus one tooth i never did find) up until this newest into the woods update, and was very excited to get back into it and try out a bit of the new settings as well as explore the new content/areas, but ive gone thro the first parts of the game so many times now and completing everything again is just more than i really think id be interested in. Yes i know its EA and all, and i know occasionally updates require save loss and restarts etc, however the way they have the areas marked off seem set up just to prevent that issue, new area coming here, so this area will be wiped, but you wont lose the hundreds of hours put into the game overall. In short im just curious if any of the custom settings will be made so you can apply them to existing saves, or only for starting entirely new games?

Currently you can't change a game that already started. I don't know if they plan to make it an option for saved games. i feel like if they wanted it to be that way they could have done it in the last update, so it might not be intended, or they might have a hard time implementing it while also allowing achievements up to the point where you change the settings. They don't want custom games to get achievements, probably because it's like cheating.
