I recently installed grounded preview on Xbox game pass, and I really enjoyed the game. Now I assume I won’t get the updates unless I get the full version. But will I lose all my saved progress in the process?

you still get the updates with game pass. there is no full version yet as it is still in development and you play as they update the game. and as far as i know your saved games are kept. buying the game is just so you can still play it even if you aren't paying for the xbox game pass. it is also possible to export a save game file from the saved game menu. the updates are also added fairly seamlessly. unless you had a base that was built in an area that gets altered drastically in an update, you should be fine to continue a save after an update.

That’s great news, thanks a lot for the quick response. I had myself a little freak out, when I saw there was an update coming out and then noticed my game said preview. Which made me think it was only a sample of the full game. Good to know I can keep building worry free.

thanks again Johnny

your welcome. and yeah, preview makes it sound like a demo of a game when it's actually early access lol.
