Shaq2k Posted December 4, 2021 Posted December 4, 2021 Grass respawning inside buildings and in close proximity to them is getting very annoying very fast. I know it's a bug, but still. My suggestion is: Why not simply make it so that if the player chops down the last lower stem of the grass (the part that produces plant fiber), the grass will never grow back? That way the players themselves can decide if they want a wast wasteland or keep the lush jungles 1
kgbsmoker Posted December 5, 2021 Posted December 5, 2021 ya, would be cool and nice if i could put some weed killer down or something to remove some grass i didn't want there or even those weird plants you cant harvest , just would have a little old style gas can and go collect some weed killer.
MrSeriouscat Posted December 5, 2021 Posted December 5, 2021 I think I suggested this already but it was on steam. A nice way to fix this and remain intuitive would be doing it like its done on terraria and starbound. Make it so to see the grass grow, you have to replant the node. At least this could work with basic grass. If you dont want those grass steems just chop it, they will never grow till you pick the seed or fibers and replant them in the node. While having the seed on hands you could have a node visor to know where could be planted. I know its bugged rn and its a big problem for players who have their bases on grass zones. But this way we could have more control over the map and our buildings, without having to worry if its bugged or if you need to leave or cut the base of the grass, because now due to this bug Idk if to see the grass regrow I have to leave or cut that base
Wilelst Posted December 5, 2021 Posted December 5, 2021 (edited) There should be a Spider axe at tier 2 made out of 4 spider fangs, spider chunks and spider venom. It would be an upgrade to the insect axe. The difference between it and the spiderfang dagger would be that it could be used as a multitool and not be as powerful as the dagger. It would be x2 faster whilst chopping grass and dandelion, and it could be used to poison bugs. It would be an alternative to your normal weapon. Wil aged 12 Edited December 5, 2021 by Wilelst
