i think it should be changed so ants cant steal food from outside of your base walls. i like the concept of them being able to steal/eat your food, but only if they are close up to the chest and/or the food item. 

example: i leave my cooked meat on my roasting spit inside of my house, and the ants eat it from outside of my house. this should be changed.
