I need this issue resolved, I’m building a large platform out of clay. I was told that if you cut grass down and lay foundation it wouldn’t grow back but after a few days it does. I have tried both options of leaving the grass stem & also cutting it down fully, to no resolution. I even built the platform three bricks high.

Is there anything I’m missing to stop the grass growing or am I just having to wait till the game updates and doesn’t have this bug.

It does need an ASAP update.. We all have this problem and its anoying i hope SOON they update this and the over populated ants.... It happens after 11.1 patch

Have you noticed that when you build too close to weed stems, they refuse to re-grow? Or happen to build a zip line that crosses the top of a weed stem that was cut just before, it doesn't come back as well? Would be nice if grass behaved the same way.  Just a thought.
