Items Disappearing from Jerky Rack?

Just noticed this morning - Had 3 pieces of meat on the jerky rack, one was finished so I replaced it with a fresh aphid. Came back a bit later and all 3 pieces were gone.

Tried it again with a new piece, left & closed the door then immediately came back into the room and it was gone as well.

Update -- I figured this out -- it was Ants! I did not realize they were getting into the room through an open door. (they ate one of my granola bars too!)
