Charcoal spawn rate since 0.10.1

Hello, 

since the 0.10.1 update my friend and me can't find charcoal, it's been 22 ingame days, while in 79 ingame days in the 0.10 we were able to collect 14.

was there a change in spawn rate with the update?

we both play multiplayer on xbox series x
