After the update installed I was able to get as far as the main menu, however if I try to continue an old save or start a new game it will crash as teh game attempts to switch from the loading screen to the game itself.

 

No error message appears.

I'm sorry to hear that you've been experiencing these crashes since updating to The Shroom & Doom update. The team is aware of this issue with Win 7/8 platforms and are working on a fix.
