OLBlaze Posted June 30, 2021 Posted June 30, 2021 Just tried (3 times) to launch the new update and it crashes to desktop. 2 month wait for this?
Palzi Posted June 30, 2021 Posted June 30, 2021 Hey, I have the same problem, right after the update, I try to load my old save, after a short start it shoots me back to the desktop...how to fix that?
danowar2k Posted July 1, 2021 Posted July 1, 2021 (edited) I've got the same problem (we should maybe merge the threads ) Played 60 hours before the patch, but now I can't - start a new single player game - continue an old single player game - join my running game with my friends It always crashes to desktop without any messages whatsoever. I also couldn't find any log I could look at for messages to attach. I am also not aware of any debug/log switches I could flip. My setup (quite an old rig, but could run Grounded without problems before): Quote CPU Type QuadCore Intel Core i5-2500, 3500 MHz (35 x 100) Motherboard Name Asus P8H67-M Pro (2 PCI, 2 PCI-E x16, 4 DDR3 DIMM, Audio, Video, Gigabit LAN) RAM: DIMM1: Kingston 99U5471-012.A00LF 4 GB DDR3-1333 DDR3 SDRAM (9-9-9-24 @ 666 MHz) (8-8-8-22 @ 609 MHz) (7-7-7-20 @ 533 MHz) (6-6-6-17 @ 457 MHz) DIMM2: Corsair XMS3 CMX8GX3M2A1333C9 4 GB DDR3-1333 DDR3 SDRAM (9-9-9-24 @ 666 MHz) (6-7-7-17 @ 457 MHz) DIMM3: Kingston 99U5471-012.A00LF 4 GB DDR3-1333 DDR3 SDRAM (9-9-9-24 @ 666 MHz) (8-8-8-22 @ 609 MHz) (7-7-7-20 @ 533 MHz) (6-6-6-17 @ 457 MHz) DIMM4: Corsair XMS3 CMX8GX3M2A1333C9 4 GB DDR3-1333 DDR3 SDRAM (9-9-9-24 @ 666 MHz) (6-7-7-17 @ 457 MHz) Audio Adapter Creative SB X-Fi Audio Controller Video Adapter NVIDIA GeForce GTX 560 Ti (2 GB) (DirectX 11.1 compatible) OS: Windows 7 64-Bit SP1 Disk Drive OCZ-AGILITY3 ATA Device (SATA-III) Disk Drive WDC WD2002FAEX-007BA0 ATA Device (2 TB, 7200 RPM, SATA-III) Let me know if I can do something to provide further help in analyzing this problem. ajrrr Posted July 4, 2021 Posted July 4, 2021 (edited) Same problem here since the update released, can't load any of the save files, crashes back to desktop. Also can't start a new game, crashes as well. I'm on Windows 7 Ultimate. I got a response back from Obsidian team, appears they know about it and are probably working on it. Assuming it may take a few extra days to patch with the holiday, maybe we will see a dev response? Edited July 4, 2021 by ajrrr
