I wish there way a way to stop individual grass sprouts from growing back so they would stop poking through my walls.

Someone had mentioned adding salt for preserving food, but I'd like it to salt the earth around my house.

Or a way to dig up the stalks with your shovel.

Seems like it might be a pain to code, but Ark for instance has settings to change how close to player built structures resources respawn.

I believe if you but a plumping directly over were that stalk comes out of the ground it will stop its respond. 

Not grass for me, but definitely clovers. I have them clipping through my walls and floor.
