With anchor points being a fair distance away it is not uncommon to accidentally connect to the wrong anchor. It would be a nice edition to remove if not recycle just the line instead of the entire anchor since they are usually in an area that requires a fair bit of travel.

It seems that you can already do that. If you look at the line instead of the structure and press x (on pc) you remove just the line. It's easier if you are under the structure so you don't brake it by mistake.
