December 17, 20205 yr When going to use the mint mallet on acorns and sap groupings I was notified that I needed a crushing tool. This bug occurred on 12/16/2020.
December 17, 20205 yr I'm having the same issue as well. Could not break apart sap, acorns, or pebbles using the Mint Mallet. I was able to break these apart using an Insect Hammer in the same game. (Multiplayer game on Xbox Series X on 12/16/2020). Edited December 17, 20205 yr by EnigmaticManiac
December 19, 20205 yr they changed it, mint mallet does not longer work as a hammer, go grab your bug hammer...
December 21, 20205 yr Was never posted in patch notes and the description still listed it as a "giant hammer". Looks like they've since changed the description to "giant mallet". I would say it was still a bug when the description still said hammer...

Obsidian, continuing their great communication, emailed me saying the mallet breaking acorns was a bug that they corrected. anyway, thanks for the reply/help!
