Peril on Gorgon:-STUCK!

I have just completed A Clockwork Mock Apple (obtained Marion's passkey and intended to play We of Spacers Choice Employ but even though i have the passkey, the barrier to the lift won't come down. I approach the purple barrier and it just stops me. I have pressed Enter, e, E and other keys but nothing happens. What am I doing wrong?

I tried youtube but only video shows player approaching barrier then it fades and barrier is down and player is at door of Human Enquiry and Auditing. 

How do I get barrier to drop? Please help

Um... You're on the Grounded forum, not The Outer Worlds.

I would still help, but I haven't played that DLC. Perhaps a written walkthrough would help you more than the video you watched? Or find a Let's Play and scrub through to where they go through the barrier.

It happens to most people at some point, it's alright. It looks like they moved it to the right place, maybe somebody here can help you figure it out.
