Valcarde Posted August 28, 2020 Posted August 28, 2020 My wife and I both purchased Grounded, and while I had no problem logging in, she has had an issue. XBox account works just fine everywhere else, logs in correctly, only with Grounded is there a problem after having a failed login attempt due to incorrect password entry. Now, every time she tries to log in, she gets an error about 'There is a problem with your Xbox account." No chance to re log in or change accounts so that she can attempt to log in again. We have tried disabling cloud saves and reinstalling the game. What can we do?

If you're using Game Pass, clear it's cache In windows go to settings, then apps click on the Game Pass app Click on Advanced, then Reset then click on Repair. Reboot and try the game again Also, make sure you Win 10 version is 1903 or higher to fully support Game Pass Try repairing the game in the Win 10 Store in settings, apps, apps & features. Your Xbox Live account may be missing info, log into it online and check that all the security info, etc. is entered. Hopefully one of those help, let us know if you get it resolved to help others that may run into this. Xbox One X

We'll try repairing windows and seeing if we can't repair the game pass app anyway, as it uses the same login- Who knows? Worth a shot.

Cant play Online. i got it to work. a guy found this: "i got it to work by going to my games in console companion and clicking start game from there" BUT! I cant play with my girlfriend. We played one on xbox with game pass, and one on PC with steam. Two different MS accounts. Now i can play with my MS account on PC, but i use the game pass.... So my girlfriend cant play on game pass on xbox anymore... Edited September 6, 2020 by Alcoholixx
Valcarde Posted September 6, 2020 Author Posted September 6, 2020 I found the fix. On the PC, go to the C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\Maine folder and nuke everything. This will not affect your saved games. Username above being, of course, the profile of the person on the PC. It will give you a new prompt to log in.
