Game won't load past title screen

Having this issue. Can't even exit the game either when this happens have to do a hard reset on my Xbox.  After doing this though it loads but it's been happening a few times.

this is also happening to me on the XBOX if I try loading a saved game.  The game crashes and I have to reset the XBOX - quitting game will not work.  I did however try a "new" game rather than continue at the home screen and this seemed to work.  Didnt progress as I want to go back to the position where all the hours I had put in were still valid.
