if you put armor on then is should come out of your inventory. There for making room for other goods. Aswell if you think about it . All you items are on your back in a backpack. So if you take armor out of the bag to put it on then there for they should no longer be in your bag.  

Hi @Killersquid, this was addressed recently by the devs. They're currently working on this with the plan that anything that's equipped will not take up space in your backpack.

    Chrome (Android)
    1. Tap the lock icon next to the address bar.
    2. Tap Permissions → Notifications.
    3. Adjust your preference.
    Chrome (Desktop)
    1. Click the padlock icon in the address bar.
    2. Select Site settings.
    3. Find Notifications and adjust your preference.
