Play Anywhere - Not Working?

Not sure if this is an issue or if the game just does not actually support Play Anywhere at the moment. I am not having issues with any of my other Play Anywhere titles, only with Grounded. 

I have no issue with it. I can move from my PC to my console freely. I do notice that the console gives me the "Syncing with cloud" briefly, but otherwise can play the same save game on both.

Interesting, I am not getting that typical cloud syncing window that I get with other games either. Not sure how to resolve. Is this related to it being a Game Pass game and that I do not own it directly?

Configure browser push notifications
Chrome (Android)
  1. Tap the lock icon next to the address bar.
  2. Tap Permissions → Notifications.
  3. Adjust your preference.
Chrome (Desktop)
  1. Click the padlock icon in the address bar.
  2. Select Site settings.
  3. Find Notifications and adjust your preference.
