Crash to Desktop Entering Maintenance Tunnels

Every time I try to enter the Byzantium maintenance tunnels the game crashes to desktop, with no error message, after finishing the loading screen. I've tried to enter the tunnels from the two entrances (by parcel service and acropolis) and it crashes in both cases. I am playing PC from the Epic Games Store.
