Bug: Crash: Parvati and Juenlei date.

Featured Replies

Hello there, starting off by saying that I just started playing and I'm shocked that this is the only bug I've noticed.

Okay, so, I forget the name now, but the quest where Parvati invites Juenlei or whatever her name is on board the ship for their date. When I accept it or turn it in or whatever it is that initiates the actual date I get transported to the captain's quarters, which I expect is intentional, but when I would try to walk up the stairs towards the kitchen I would crash. After some reloading a few times I found that by walking downstairs and going up to the kitchen through the engine room I managed to not crash and get through their date. I had also played the game nonstop for about 9 hours at that point. And hadn't turned it off in 14 hours, I left it on while I had to do some things.

I'm on a fresh install of windows 10, all drivers and updates are installed. Literally just finished installing them just before playing this game. I'm using the windows 10 marketplace version if that matters.

Computer builds if it matters.
Motherboard: MSI Z270 gaming M7

Yes, I've the same issue and I've posted it too:

I hope they can fix it soon.

I've also noticed this bug, I went back to Groundbreaker to do both Parvati and Felix's quests (Drinking Sapphire Wine and the one where you track down a traitor by speaking to his wife) and noticed it was in the botched section, because Parvati had died. Even though she was in the party with me for the express purpose of that quest. So, I don't know what happened there.

There is reports of this quest glitching for quite a few people.  In your case I am curious if you closed down the game then tried a load of the last save before the glitch if you still experienced it?  It sounds like the game ran for 25 hours so a memory leak might of occurred causing the crash.

You were right. I've tried today and the mission worked.
