October 28, 20196 yr If you have completed a companion quest that grants a unique perk to that companion (eg. Clean Sweep for SAM, Tuned In for Vicar Max) and use the respec machine, those perks are removed and there's no way to get the quest perk back. You get an additional perk point to allocate for that companion, but there's no way to use it for the quest perk.
October 28, 20196 yr If you complete a companion's quest line and get their special perk and then respec your character, you lose the companion's special perk. You do get an extra perk point to assign for them, but the special perk itself is no longer available for them at all. Edited October 28, 20196 yr by thomwatson to add "bug" tag
October 30, 20196 yr I'm gonna comment here to. I've noticed the same thing. I don't know if that's intended or if there's a way to re-select them, but I'm glad to see that it's not just me.
