Unable to download on Windows 10

Good afternoon,

I am part of the PC game pass for Windows 10. I attempted to download The Outer Worlds and I receive a pending notification and nothing happens. A spiral seems to indicate it might download; but it doesn't. I have waited several hours with  "pending" on my screen. Please help! 

Thanks so much for your time and effort.

Similar issue to me. I had to manually update the store and gamepass app on pc then it worked.

Configure browser push notifications
Chrome (Android)
  1. Tap the lock icon next to the address bar.
  2. Tap Permissions → Notifications.
  3. Adjust your preference.
Chrome (Desktop)
  1. Click the padlock icon in the address bar.
  2. Select Site settings.
  3. Find Notifications and adjust your preference.
