Is there anything to be done about the overall animation speed of the game?

 

Does 'combat speed' matter for turn based?

 

I'd enjoy the game much more if the overall movement/animation speed was up another 25% or so.

As it stands, I'm having trouble enjoying a second playthrough due to the game speed (and a few visual glitches).

 

Details:
I know about the 'walk speed' toggle.

I'm on a high-end Mac.
