I am experiencing the freeze when the Beast of Winter starts the battle and smashes his axe to the ground. 

 

Will this be fixed?  I see that it has been around for a while, but does not seem to be fixed.

 

I have tried spamming f5 etc...  no luck.

 

Any suggestions?

 

I can attach crash dump if needed.

So I was stewing in frustration of the bug and I realized it was a graphical issue.  I decided to turn my in-game gfx down to the lowest settings and untick all effects, windowed mode, lowest res...seems to have allowed me to fight him. 

 

EDIT: Hmmm, it let me fight him once, then the second time, after I died, the same bug occurred.

Unfortunately we haven't been able to solve this issue yet.  In the meantime I've been creating saves for users JUST after the axe hits the ground so that they can continue the combat without running into this.  Would you be able to send me your save file so I can get this set up for you?  If needed, you can find instructions on where the saves are here.  If you could send that to me at support@obsidian.net along with a link to this post as a reference, I'd be super appreciative.
