Goatman Posted January 3, 2019 Posted January 3, 2019 I've been searching and searching, and I can't find any info. I'd rather not run multiple iterative playthroughs to find out this one detail... I see a total of four outcomes relating to the dragon: Convince her to help you attack Eothas and avoid fighting her Convince her to help you attack Eothas and betray her to Rymrgand (also peaceful) Fight her, and allow Rymrgand purify the relicFight her and don't allow Rymgrand to purify the relic. All peaceful options do not seem to give you the trinkets Neriscyrias' Hope and Whispers of Neriscyrias. Does purifying the relic make these items useless or otherwise change their effects? If you do not allow Rymrgand to purify these items, are you allowed to summon Neriscyrias later, or does she otherwise make an appearance? Is there any difference in defeating her vs. striking a pact with her, if you don't allow Rymrgand to purify the items?

Is there any difference in defeating her vs. striking a pact with her, if you don't allow Rymrgand to purify the items? You should always receive Neriscyrlas's Hope, regardless of your actions. There is no impact on its systems based on whether or not Rymrgand strips Neriscyrlas's essence from it. (Its power is what allowed Neriscyrlas to use it the way she does.) I don't think you get Whispers of Neriscyrlas if you don't fight her. I don't actually remember what the systemic reactivity is to striking a deal with her and keeping your word. I think the only narrative reactivity is an endslide. I don't believe that this is ever contextualized as "fighting Eothas," but rather as rescuing her from the Beyond... in a manner of speaking. There's another option, too, that does involve convincing her to fight a god.
Goatman Posted January 4, 2019 Author Posted January 4, 2019 Well then! Looks like I have a bug to report. Thanks for the info! 1
